is a writer and Assistant Professor of Classics at William Jewell College. His teaching and research focus on Latin and Greek language, literature, history, and race and ethnicity. He is a student in the MFA program in fiction at the University of Missouri - Kansas City.

He is the author of a poetry chapbook, Georgic Fantasy (Artist's Proof Editions, 2016). His nine-poem sequence, Underworld, was published with Poet Lore in 2017. He has also translated the ancient Greek poet Theocritus with illustrations by the artist John Woodman (PVCRS, The Open University, 2014).
